|Apalachia Ore||Apalachia Fragments|
Apalachia ore is found among the stone areas of Apalachia, spawning in veins of 3 to 8. Apalachia ore is quite uncommon and is rarely exposed out in the open, therefore requiring mining techniques if one wants to find large quantities of it.
Due to Apalachia ore being rare, mining techniques are required to find large quantities of it. As the environment of Apalachia is quasi-similar to the overworld, similar techniques may be applied.
Strip mining techniques can be used, but the player must be careful when doing so. This is because the terrain is still a floating landmass, meaning that the player can easily fall off the world when strip mining.
It is important to keep track of the player's surroundings, as there are many hostile mobs which can easily overpower the player. This is especially important when trying to reach higher areas, as Enchanted Archers can simply shoot the player down, and potentially off the world.
When mining Apalachia ore, it is recommended to wear Eden Armor, as this will increase the yield of Apalachia Fragments from 1 to 4.
Apalachia ore drops Apalachia fragments, which can be crafted into Apalachia Dust, the ammunition for the Apalachia Blitz. However, the main use of Apalachia fragments is the crafting of Apalachia Blocks, which are used to build the portal to the Mythril Mountains.
Apalachia fragments can be crafted in to Apalachia gems, which are then used to craft Apalachia slicers. Finally, Apalachia gems can then be crafted into Apalachia chunks, which are used to make higher-tier tools, weapons and armor.
- As Apalachia Ore is rare, killing native creatures such as Apalachia Cadillions and Enchanted Warriors is a far more effective way of farming Apalachia Fragments. This is because they drop Apalachia Souls upon death, which can be crafted into Apalachia Fragments. In addition, you do not have to cover vast distances, as all mob drops are renewable, as they spawn quite frequently.
